How can I become a member of AmCham Jamaica?
Joining our association is simple! Just complete and submit the membership application form by clicking here. Once submitted, our Membership Committee will review your application. If approved, our Secretariat will reach out to guide you through the next steps.
What types of events does AmCham Jamaica host?
Our Chamber organizes a variety of events designed to foster trade, investment, and collaboration between the Jamaica and the United States. These include, but are not limited to, trade missions, business matchmaking events, seminars and webinars, networking events, conferences and trade expos. These events are tailored to support members in building relationships, growing their businesses, and navigating the complexities of cross-border trade.
Can I participate in international events through AmCham?
Yes. As a member, AmCham facilitates participation in incoming and outgoing trade missions, trade shows and other events in collaboration with the U.S. Embassy or U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
How are the Membership Dues Paid?
Upon confirmation of membership, you will receive our bank account details for making payments via direct transfers, cash deposits, or cheques. We kindly request that members include their invoice number in the payment remarks for efficient processing.
We are also in the process of launching an online payment facility, which will be available later this year to enhance convenience for our members.
Do I need to be a US Citizen, or employed by a US based company to be a member of AmCham Jamaica?
No. The Chamber is an independent, not-for-profit, non-governmental membership organization. Its mission is to promote trade and investment activity between Jamaica and the United States and to help develop closer ties between the business communities of both nations.
How Can My Company Sponsor an Event?
The Chamber offers an extensive array of event sponsorship opportunities for companies to increase their exposure in the Jamaica- US business community, including breakfast briefings, seminars, luncheons, business networking receptions, major conferences (including the Annual Trade & Investment Summit), and our annual awards gala dinner.

Can non-members attend Chamber events?
Yes, non-members can attend many of our events, but there are some restrictions. Certain high-level events, such as those involving senior government officials and business leaders, are exclusive to members.
For some events, members enjoy complimentary or reduced prices to access, while non-members are required to pay a fee. Additionally, if an event has limited capacity, Chamber members are given priority registration. This ensures our members receive maximum value and access to key opportunities.
